The computer I ended up with is a 2002 emachine
running win xp home edition. whomever had it
taking a microsoft couse.
this computer had microsoft
money 2002 on it, I uninstalled it. now when I open
a new window, or start running a program, it keeps
trying to reinstall itself.
this computer also won't let me update anything.
so I'm stuck with IE6, no flash beyond 2002.
Plain text email only. attachments still work, thankfully!
another annoing thing is hitting the space bar
once and having it go 2 spaces, instead of 1.
anyway, I'm glad to be back. I was also sorry to
learn that Jennette's Mompassed away on 09/21/13.
I had figured something was up, when I hadn't heard
from her, even before I went to the nursing home in 2011.
